When we picked up the Hormel Chili this month and I thought to myself.Hmmmm.... I want to give that a try in a dip.So I thought that I would share the recipe here.I hope that you'll give it a try some time. Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef |
1 small onion, diced (optional) |
1 package chili seasoning mix |
1 can (15 oz) hormel chili no beans |
1 jar (15.5 oz) salsa con queso |
1/2 jar mild, medium or hot salsa |
tortilla or nacho chips |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and optional onion.Drain the excess fat.Add the chili seasoning mix and hormel chili.Let it cook for about 5 minutes or until hot. 2. Pour both salsa's into an microwave bowl for up to 2 minutes.Add the meat mixture to the salsa's.Could add the salsa's to the meat. 3. Use either tortilla or nacho chips. |
