This sounds very strange but is quite good and the kids get a laugh out of the name. I even like it. I have listed the ingredients as best I could. I usually add everything to the pan in the amounts that I like, but I needed measurements, so this is what I came up with. You may add more or less of each. Ingredients:
1 cup cooked spaghetti |
1 cup dry italian breadcrumbs (this is the sand) |
1/4-1/2 teaspoon dried basil |
1/4-1/2 teaspoon dried parsley |
1/16 teaspoon garlic salt |
2 tablespoons olive oil (ap prox.) |
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook the spaghetti and while cooking prepare the rest. 2. Put the olive oil in a fry pan. 3. Add the bread crumbs and rest of ingredients. 4. Mix well; should look like wet sand-if not add a little more of whatever you think you need to make it look like that. 5. Toss the warm sand with the pasta. 6. Sprinkle with cheese. |
