Sam's Grilled Rum Peaches |

from Sam The Cooking Guy. These are pretty light (despite a little butter) and go really well with vanilla ice cream. Ingredients:
1 large peach, - 1/2 serves 1 person |
1/4 cup butter |
1 orange, juice of |
1/4 cup dark rum |
Directions:
1. Mix butter, rum and orange juice in small pot and melt over low heat. 2. Cut peaches evenly in half. 3. Then make slices in each half about 1/2 inch apart - but leave slices attached at the top. 4. Grill over medium heat, basting often with butter mixture - grill marks are a good thing. 5. Serve beside ice cream. |
