1 1/2 cup pigeon peas, toor dal |
4 cups water |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp turmeric powder |
1 tsp mustard seeds |
1 tsp salt |
1 tbsp oil |
2 cups radish, red |
1 cup carrots, chopped |
2 tbl tamarind |
Directions:
1. # Please add (1) pinch of hing (2) 2 red chillis (3) 4 curry leaves to the recipe (4) 1 tbl sambhar powder 2. # Take water. Mix tamarind, turmeric, hing, salt and sambhar powder 3. # Boil the mix 4. # Add the radish and onions 5. # Add the pressure-cooked toor dal with turmeric 6. # Temper with oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, red and green chillies |
