Not quick and easy but well worth the effort Ingredients:
18 oz tuna use the good stuff!! (solid white albacor in water) |
1-1/4 c diced celery (small dice) |
1/3 c sweet relish, drained |
3/4 ts season-all |
1/2 ts cavenders |
1/3 ts white pepper |
3/4 ts dry mustard |
1/3 ts tarragon leaves |
1-1/4 ts parsley |
1-1/4 tb minced onion |
1-1/4 tb lemon juice, or to taste |
Directions:
1. DRAIN AND FLAKE TUNA. ADD CELERY AND RELISH. COMBINE REMAINING INGREDIENTS. MIX WELL. ADD TO TUNA AND MIX THOROUGHLY. 2. I LIKE TO SERVE IT ON CRISP LETTUCE GARNISHED WITH SLICED EGG OR TOMATO WEDGES. 3. ALSO GOOD AS FILLING FOR SANDWICHES. 4. GO EASY ON THE TARRAGON UNTIL YOU GET A TASTE FOR HOW MUCH TO USE AT FIRST, IT CAN BE VERY STRONG. |
