Delightful chocolate candy with a crisp saltine crust. They are baked and then frozen. Ingredients:
1 sleeve of saltine crackers(approximately) |
2sticks unsalted butter |
1 8oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate morsels(more if you want thicker chocolate topping) |
1c. chopped walnuts(or less) |
1c. sugar |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. Line cookie sheet with foil and place saltines down in single layer. Melt butter,add sugar to melted butter and cook butter and sugar combo in microwave for a total of 3 mins;stirring every 30 seconds so sugar and butter mixture doesn't burn. Pour butter/sugar over the crackers so all are covered and bake for 5 mins. 2. Sprinkle chocolate morsels over the crackers and spread as they melt to cover crackers. Sprinkkle with walnuts and freeze for 2 hours. 3. Break into pieces (big or small). Enjoy! |
