These remind me of something from a 007 movie! I found the recipe in a regional cookbook from Washington DC circa 1960's. It was suggested to double the recipe, as they disappear fast! I am thinking of spicing them up, like with curry ! Read more ! Ingredients:
1 cup self-rising flour |
1/2 cup butter, room temperature |
1 teaspoon salt |
preheat oven : 350 * f ' 15 minutes, until golden brown |
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients and quickly knead into a ball. Wrap in saran and chill. Shape into 3/4 inch bullets. Bake on buttered sheet. 2. Serve with cocktails and the onion and garlic cookies posted today by Daddydoug, along with Cuzpat's Scroogedriver ! |
