For real authentic Upstate NY flavor use 1 cup of salt. Try these for your next BBQ or crab boil! YUM! Leftovers can be used for home fries. Ingredients:
3 lbs small potatoes (creamers) |
4 quarts water |
1 cup salt |
1/2 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Place the potatoes and water in a large pot. 2. Pour the salt over the potatoes, cover, and bring to a boil over high heat. 3. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 25 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender. 4. Serve with the melted butter for dipping. |
