Ingredients:
1/2 pound salt pork, sliced |
2 medium-size cooking apples, cored, peeled, and sliced into rings |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Fry pork in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crisp. Drain pork on paper towels; set aside. Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet. 2. Fry apples in skillet until lightly browned and tender, turning once. 3. Place apples around pork on serving platter. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. |
