An herb sauce made with fresh parsley. I serve this sauce with Vegetarian Bellito Misto. Ingredients:
1 cup packed flat leaf parsley |
2 tablespoons capers |
1/3 cup chopped pecans |
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. In a food processor, combine parsely, pecans, vinegar, and salt and pepper. With the machine running, slowly pour in the olive oil and water through feed tube. Process until you have achieved a smooth sauce. |
