This is a healthy and authentic recipe from my next door neighbor of many(20!) years ago. Thank you Mark Pinon! Ingredients:
1 lb tomatillo |
2 jalapenos |
1/4 bunch cilantro, chopped |
1/2 medium onion, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
water, to boil |
Directions:
1. Peel papery skins from tomatillos, and wash them and the jalapenos. 2. Boil tomatillos and jalapenos for 5 minutes and drain. 3. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend for a few seconds to mix. 4. Chill and serve. |
