Serve with low-fat tortilla chips, grilled meat, or poultry. This is the most traditional salsa, no doubt because it goes so well with almost anything. Ingredients:
2 cups chopped seeded peeled tomato |
1/3 cup chopped green onions |
2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro |
2 tablespoons canned chopped green chiles |
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
1 teaspoon minced seeded jalapeƱo pepper |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
dash of ground cumin |
