~Salsa~ Ingredients:
2 limes |
2 oranges |
1 cup jicama,chopped |
1 cup sweet red pepper,chopped |
1 cup red onion,chopped |
2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves,chopped |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper,seeded,choppped |
1 tablespoon capers |
1 tablespoon white balsamic vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Grate 1 teaspoon zest (each) from the lime and orange. 2. Peel and section pulp from limes and oranges,chop into 1/2 pieces. 3. In bowl combine lime and orange sections,jicama,red pepper,onion,mint,oil,jalapeno pepper,capers,vinegar,lime zest,orange zest,and salt. 4. Stir gently until well blended. 5. Cover and place in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours to marry flavors. 6. ~Serve with Stout Chips~ |
