A homemade salsa recipe. It makes a bunch but it can be canned. Ingredients:
14 cups chopped tomatoes |
3 cups chopped onions |
1 1/2 cups chopped bell peppers |
2 chopped jalapeno peppers |
1/2 cup vinegar |
3 tablespoons salt |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
9 tablespoons cornstarch |
6 ounces tomato paste |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot. 2. Cook on stove until the mix boils. 3. Either cool and serve or can in jars in a hot water bath for 20 minutes. |
