A homemade salsa recipe. It makes a bunch but it can be canned.
Ingredients:
14 cups chopped tomatoes
3 cups chopped onions
1 1/2 cups chopped bell peppers
2 chopped jalapeno peppers
1/2 cup vinegar
3 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
9 tablespoons cornstarch
6 ounces tomato paste
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
2. Cook on stove until the mix boils.
3. Either cool and serve or can in jars in a hot water bath for 20 minutes.
