This is a great tasting salsa that is easy to make with ingredients that are available all year round. Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, no salt added |
1/4 cup red onion, diced |
1 serrano pepper, diced |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon oil |
1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar |
Directions:
1. Drain and discard the juices from the tomatoes. 2. Rinse the diced red onion under cold running water. 3. Combine all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. 4. Cover and chill 45 minutes for flavors to meld. |
