This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't cooked any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them on here so I can find them easier. Ingredients:
1 salmon fillet, about 2 lbs |
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt |
1/2 teaspoon parsley, shredded |
1/4 teaspoon celery seed |
1 teaspoon salt |
whole black peppercorn |
1 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon dill weed |
1 tablespoon wine vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Poach salmon in water seasoned with seasoned salt, parsley, celery seed, salt and whole peppercorns until done to your liking. It should take about 25 minutes. 2. Serve hot or cold with a sauce made from sour cream, dill weed, wine vinegar, salt and sugar. |
