this is an elegant appetizer that I serve in the living room with sparkling wine or champagne before a very special dinner that I will be adding all the recipes for soon. Ingredients:
3 ounces cream cheese |
1/4 pound smoked salmon |
2tsp lemon juice 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper |
salt |
1 tbsp minced chives |
5 heads belgian endive |
snipped chives, for garnish |
Directions:
1. In food processor combine all ingredients except chives and endive. Process until smooth. Stir in chives.(can make ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours). 2. Pipe or spoon a heaping teaspoon pate' into ends of endive leaves. 3. Garnish with additional chives |
