We have a smoker and this is a wonderful way to use smoked fish I use a can of hot rotel with chilles Zaar gave me a hard time on that one Ingredients:
1/2 lb smoked salmon fillets or 1/2 lb any fish |
1 medium onion, finely chopped |
1 stalk chopped celery |
4 garlic cloves, minced |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 (10 ounce) can tomatoes |
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies |
14 ounce.can chicken broth |
8 ounces tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon curry powder |
1 ounce goya seasoning |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. heat oil over medium heat, brown onions, celery and garlic until golden and soft. 2. add chicken broth and tomato's , add seasoning. 3. simmer 20 minutes. 4. flake fish and just add just long enough to warm. 5. serve in bowls with hot crusty bread. |
