A quiche that i will never get tired off and all my family love it, I found this on a recipebook and I love preparing this recipe. Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups flour |
155 g butter |
1 egg yolk |
water |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
250 g salmon |
3 onions, finely chopped |
300 g cottage cheese |
200 g mascarpone |
180 ml fresh cream |
4 eggs |
2 teaspoons oregano |
salt and pepper |
breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. For the pastry make in a crumble the flour salt and butter. 2. Then add the egg yolk and water till the mixture become a firm ball. 3. Than wrap in cling film and leave to rest for 30 minute. 4. Prepare the baking dish by spreading it lightly with butter and cover with breadcrumbs. 5. Open the pastry and put it in the dish over the breadcrumbs. 6. Put in the fridge for 15min meanwhile make the filling. 7. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the onions and leave aside to cool. 8. In a bowl mix the cottage cheese, mascarpone and fresh cream. 9. Add salmon and eggs. 10. Take out the pastry from the fridge, spread the onions on the pastry and spread the salmon mixture on the onions. 11. Bake for 40 minute. |
