Ingredients:
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin |
6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
1 cup boiling water |
1 medium onion, quartered |
1 cup mayonnaise |
2 (1 lb) cans salmon, drained |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
2 teaspoons dill weed |
2 cups heavy cream |
lemon wedge |
dill sprigs |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
4 teaspoons lemon juice |
1 tablespoon dill |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
Directions:
1. Place gelatin in lemon juice to soften. 2. Add boiling water. 3. Stir until dissolved. 4. Scrape into blender. 5. Add onion, blending for 20 seconds at high speed, then add mayonnaise, salmon, paprika and dill until smooth. 6. Pour into chilled 8 cup mold. 7. Chill 4 hours covered. 8. Garnish before serving with lemon wedges and dill sprigs. 9. Serves 6. 10. -DillSauce For Salmon Mousse-. 11. Blend all ingredients well and chill. 12. Makes 2 cups. |
