This is a beautiful cheese ball that I am asked to bring to parties all the time. Ingredients:
1 -8 oz piece of salmon, cooked |
2- 8oz pkgs of softened cream cheese |
1/2t. worcestershire sauce |
1/2t. seasoning salt |
3c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Beat the cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, & seasoning salt. 2. Add the salmon, beat until well mixed. 3. Beat in 2c. of the cheese. 4. Spread the remaining cup of cheese on a large plate. 5. Use a spatula to scrap the sides of the bowl, and to roughly shape in to a large ball. Roll the ball around in the remaining shredded cheese. 6. Wrap tightly in saran and store in fridge for up to 2 days in advance, and no less than 4 hours. 7. Serve with crackers. |
