Nice either warm or chilled Ingredients:
14oz salmon, cooked and flaked |
8-9 slices bread, crusts trimmed |
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese |
6 eggs |
3/4 cup low fat milk |
1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper |
1/4 cup green onions sliced |
1 tablespoon better, melted |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven 350f 2. Arrange bread in a spiral pattern in a greased 9 inch pie plate arranging the edges to form a crown. 3. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over the bread. 4. Whisk together eggs, milk salt and pepper until well combined. 5. Stir in salmon, green onions and remaining 1 cup of cheese. Pour over bread. 6. Bake at 350f for 35-40 minutes or until center is set. Check it after 25 minutes to be safe, but mine took 45 minutes! |
