Salmon And Cream Cheese D’oeuvres |

Great Hors D’oeuvres to serve at a party. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lb fresh salmon |
or |
1 lb smoked salmon (i like the cajun smoked from costco) |
1/2 lb soft cream cheese, mashed |
1 tbs horseradish |
1 tbs lemon juice |
2 tbs mayonnaise |
1 clove garlic, crushed |
1/2 tsp liquid smoke (omit if using smoked salmon) |
1 tbs parsley flakes (omit if using a flavored smoked salmon) |
Directions:
1. Steam fresh salmon for about 45 minutes and let cool. 2. Meanwhile thoroughly mix the other ingredients in a bowl. 3. When salmon has cooled, or if using smoked salmon, remove the skin and bones. 4. Separate meat with fork and mix well with other ingredients. 5. Serve with buttery crackers. |
