I found this recipe in a NZ magazine, so made it (with adjustments to suit us) whilst we were on holiday. Ingredients:
2 8-inch prepared pizza crust |
100 g smoked salmon, chopped |
100 g brie cheese, thinly sliced |
1 tomato, sliced |
1/2 red onion, finely sliced |
sour cream, to serve |
3 tablespoons pesto sauce (i used a commercial basil-based one) |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat your oven to 200c degrees. 2. Spread the pizza bases with half of the pesto on each. 3. Arrange the remaining ingredients in the order given over each of the pizzas using half on each. 4. Place on a baking sheet in pre-heated oven for about 15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown and base is crisp. 5. Cut into wedges and offer sour cream on the side. |
