this gravy is so good; can also be made as meatballs Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten |
1/2 cup milk (or silk) |
1 tablespoon minced onion (i add more) |
1/2 cup fresh breadcrumb |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 pinch sugar |
1 pinch allspice |
1 pinch nutmeg |
1 lb ground beef |
1 cup boiling water |
1 beef bouillon cube |
1 -2 tablespoon vinegar |
2 tablespoons cornstarch, in |
1/4 cup cold water |
Directions:
1. Mix egg, milk and all and add to ground beef. Mix gently. 2. Brown quickly in oil in heated medium-sized skillet. 3. Mix ingredients for gravy until blended. 4. Pour over meat and simmer on low for 30 minutes. 5. Serve with rice or noodles or bread. |
