Salami Tartlet Canape Bites |

Purchase salami slices that are medium-thick and around 2 1/2 inches in diameter as these will be a perfect fit for the muffin holes. Super easy to make and create an interesting alternative when providing nibbles for a party. They are also great with slice of tomato before you pour in the egg. Ingredients:
24 slices salami (see above) |
8 eggs, lightly beaten |
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F 2. Line base and sides of two 12-hole, 1/3-cup capacity muffin pans with salami. 3. Pour 1 tablespoon egg into each salami case. Sprinkle with cheese. 4. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until egg is set and cheese has melted. Season with salt and pepper. Serve. |
