If you haven't tried this, this is a unusual, but quick and flavorful hamburger. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs ground chuck |
1 egg (optional) |
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3/4 teaspoon pepper |
4 hamburger buns |
4 slices salami |
4 slices swiss cheese |
mustard (optional) |
mayonnaise (optional) |
ketchup (optional) |
tomato, slices (optional) |
onion, slices (optional) |
pickle, slices (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix ground chuck with egg, worcestershire, salt, and pepper. 2. Form into 4 or 5 patties about 1/2 inch thick, and 4 inches in diameter. 3. Grill 5-6 minutes on each side, or 4-5 minutes in a skillet. 4. Toast 4 buns and spread with mayonnaise, ketchupor mustard if desired. |
