Saki Shrimp Kabobs

Saki, Japanese wine, makes a tasty addition to the marinade for these shrimp kabobs.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup sake (japanese wine)
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
1 1/2 lbs large shrimp, shelled
mixed mushrooms
1 small onion
cherry tomatoes
rice, pilaf
Directions:
1. Combine soy sauce, oil, Saki, garlic and ginger; marinate shrimp about 2 hours.
2. If you like softer grilled veggies, microwave them first to your taste. Skewer shrimp with a combination of mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. Grill or broil 10 to 12 minutes, turning frequently. Serve over rice pilaf.
