Asian-influenced hot tea toddy. Ingredients:
1 cup pear juice |
3 teaspoons oolong tea leaves |
1/4 cup unfiltered nigori sake |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine the juice and tea leaves. 2. Put over low heat and bring to a boil. 3. Remove from heat; cover pan and let steep for 3 minutes. 4. Add in the sake and bring to just below a simmer—do not boil. 5. Strain into 2 warmed teacups; serve immediately. |
