Sage Stuffing for Poultry |

Very easy and delicious. This recipe makes enough to stuff a 5 pound bird. From the United States Regional Cookbook, Culinary Arts Institute of Chicago, 1947. Ingredients:
3 cups breadcrumbs |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/3 cup butter, melted |
1 tablespoon sage, crushed |
1 tablespoon onion, minced |
Directions:
1. Combine first five ingredients; add butter and toss together until blended. |
