Lamb chops from the microwave? We were pleasantly surprised. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon dark brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
4 (1-inch-thick) lamb chops |
Directions:
1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a 9-inch pieplate or microwave-safe dish. Add chops, turning to coat; arrange chops with bones toward center of dish. Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours. 2. Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH (70% power) 3 to 5 minutes or until chops are pink in the center (do not overcook). Cover with aluminum foil, and let stand 3 minutes. |
