Although I haven't made this yet, this is a simple way to use apples and garden sage. This can be eaten plain or used in Sage Apple Cake Sage Apple Cake. Recipe was printed in the newspaper. Ingredients:
6 apples, cord and chopped |
1/3 cup honey |
3 sage leaves |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over low heat for 30-40 minutes or until apples are soft. 2. Remove sage leaves and strain apples through food mill or fine strainer. |
