Try this sage butter on grilled chicken or fish or tossed with steamed vegetables. Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh sage leaves, loosely packed |
1 large shallot |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind |
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper |
Directions:
1. Process sage and shallot in a food processor until chopped. 2. Add butter and remaining ingredients; process until mixture is thoroughly blended, stopping occasionally to scrape down sides. |
