Made with Marsala or a favored liquor becomes a delightful addition over fresh almond cake. Ingredients:
for each person |
1 egg yolk |
1 tbsp of sugar |
2 tbsp of dry white wine or sub marsala or orange liquor |
Directions:
1. Place the ingredients in a bowl and whip over warm water until light and fluffy. 2. Put in a serving bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. 3. Alternately serve warm over almond cake. 4. Optional flavorings, real vanilla, rind of orange or lemon if desired |
