Childhood favorite. A breakfast comfort food. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 stick butter/margarine |
1-12 oz can evaporated milk |
1 - 2 tbsp flour |
garlic salt & pepper - to taste |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, drain fat. 2. Add butter to meat, melt. 3. Stir in 1/2 can of milk, bring to a low simmer. 4. Add seasoning to your liking. 5. Whisk together flour and remaining milk, making sure you removed all of the lumps. 6. Pour flour and milk mixture into meat mixture while you continuously stir. 7. Cook on med ium-low heat until bubbly. 8. Serve over toast. |
