this recipe is from a little pamphet that I've had for ever..I never had a bread machine but it sounds good.. you can also make it the old fashion way and hand knead it.. Ingredients:
1 package yeast |
1 cup medium rye flour |
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour |
2 tbsp. wheat germ |
1 teasp. salt |
1 cup flat beer |
2 tbsp. molasses |
2 teasp. fresh grated orange rind |
2 tbsp. butter, room temperature |
1/4 cup warm water |
Directions:
1. add all the ingredients to machine in the order listed 2. select 'white bread' and push start 3. .................................................................. 4. you can use the above recipe and make the old fashion way and hand knead the bread.. 5. ................................................................. 6. it will make 2 loaves 7. bake at 350' F for 40 - 45 minutes |
