Rutabaga Casserole Au Gratin

Basically rutabaga with cheese
Ingredients:
1 large rutabaga peeled and chopped
1/4 cup. butter or margarine, divided
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup. milk
1 1/2 cup. grated white cheddar, divided
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 cup. italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
Directions:
1. Bring rutabaga to boil; cook 20 minutes or until tender.
2. Drain well; transfer to large bowl, and mash.
3. Melt 1 tbsp. butter; add onion,
4. sauté 3 minutes or until tender.
5. Add onion, milk and 1 cup. cheese, salt, garlic and remaining ingredients to rutabagas.
6. Spoon into lightly greased 9 X 13-inch baking dish.
7. Sprinkle evenly with breadcrumbs and remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake 350 F. for 30 minutes or until lightly browned
