South Beach Diet recipe. Ingredients:
1 tbsp peanut oil |
3 garlic cloves, chopped |
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes |
28 ounces diced tomatoes, canned, unsalted |
1 tbsp dried basil |
11 ounces vegetable juice, low sodium |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over med-low heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir until softened, about 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, basil and vegetable juice. Increase heat to medium and simmer for 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot. |
