An easy addition to your holiday cookie tray. I'd suggest baking more than one batch!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, soft
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup finely chopped nuts
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Grease a cookie sheet.
3. Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla.
4. Sift flour.
5. Resift flour with the salt.
6. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture.
7. Mix well.
8. Stir in the chopped nuts.
9. Form dough into 1 balls.
10. Placed on prepared cookie sheet.
11. Bake 14 to 17 minutes.
12. Roll in confectioners' sugar.
