This is the version of carrot salad I grew up eating. My doctor says that even though carrot has a lot of vitamin A, if you just eat a carrot, you will get only 10% of the vitamin, but if you combine it with milk fat and milk acids you will get 80% of it! Read more ! This is very healthy recipe and recommended for babies! Ingredients:
2-3 carrots (preferably small ones), shredded or grated fine |
1 orange |
2 tbsp of sour cream or vanilla yogurt |
Directions:
1. Put carrots in a bowl 2. Peel the orange and separate the segments. Cut them in small pieces, about 1 cm 3. Add orange pieces to the bowl, add sour cream or yogurt, mix it all with the carrots 4. If you are using sour cream, you can add a bit of sugar 5. You can also add soaked raisins or crushed nuts if you like |
