Rumba Brownies

Adults only brownies!!! Try these instead of rum balls for your next get-together.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 1/4 cups chocolate syrup
3 eggs
3 teaspoons rum
1 1/4 cups unbleached flour
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
2 -3 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon rum
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease a 9x13 baking pan.
2. In a large bowl beat butter and sugar until fluffy and light in colour.
3. Add syrup, eggs and rum, beating at low speed until blended. Then add flour and beat again on low speed. When flour is blended in stir in raisins and coconut.
4. Spread mix in pan and bake 30-35 min's or until toothpick test comes out clean. Cool brownies to room temperature then frost.
5. Frosting: in a 2 Litre saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in cocoa and bring to a boil, stirring constantly!
6. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add rest of ingredients; stir until smooth; spread on brownies.
