A favorite at Ashley & Birdie's house from the family collection. Ingredients:
1 lb bacon (halved crosswise) |
14 ounces water chestnuts (drained) |
1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks |
14 ounces ketchup |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Cut the bacon slices into halves.Wrap the water chestnuts and pineapple chunk with the bacon pieces; secure with wooden toothpick. 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; drain. 3. Combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, hot sauce and brown sugar in a bowl; Mix well.Pour over the dish. 4. Bake for 30 minutes longer. |
