THESE ARE SO GOOD AND EASY TO MAKE
Ingredients:
41/2 oz dark chocolate
small knob of butter
2 tsp rum
1/2 cup shredded coconut
31/2 oz cake crumbs
6 tbsp confectioners sugar
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
Directions:
1. BREAK THE CHOCOLATE INTO PIECES AND PLACE IN A BOWL WITH THE BUTTER,SET THE BOWL OVER A PAN OF SIMMERING WATER,AND STIR UNTIL MELTED.
2. REMOVE FROM THE HEAT AND BEAT IN THE RUM,STIR IN THE SHREDDED COCONUT ,CAKE CRUMBS,AND 2 THIRDS OF THE CONFECTIONERS SUGAR.BEAT UNTIL COMBINED,ADD A LITTLE EXTRA RUM IF THE MIXTURE IS STIFF.
3. ROLL THE MIXTURE INTO SMALL BALLS AND PLACE THEM ON A SHEET OF PARCHMENT PAPER,CHILL UNTIL FIRM
4. SIFT THE REMAINING CONFECTIONERS SUGAR ONTO A LARGE PLATE SIFT THE COCOA ONTO ANOTHER PLATE AND ROLL THE TRUFFLE ON WHATEVER YOU DESIRE
5. AND THEN PLACE THE TRUFFLES IN PAPER AND CHILL UNTIL SERVED,ENJOY
