RUM SYRUP This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Tumble Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1 teaspoon butter |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
3 tablespoons rum |
Directions:
1. Boil sugar and water 5 minutes then add butter, vanilla and rum and cook until syrupy. |
