Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup half-and-half
1/2 cup butter
4 teaspoons light rum or 1/4 teaspoon rum extract
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and flour.
2. Stir in half-and-half and butter.
3. Cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly, stirring constantly.
4. Remove from heat; stir in rum.
5. Refrigerate until needed.
