Hooch and cake. Need I say more? Ingredients:

1 cup chopped nuts-optional |
1 box yellow cake mix |
1 box instant vanilla pudding |
1/2 cup oil |
4 eggs |
1/2 cup rum |
glaze |
1 stick butter |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup water |
1/2 cup rum |
Directions:
1. Grease and flour a 12-cup bundt pan. 2. Pour nuts evenly over the bottom of pan(if using). 3. Mix together cake ingredients. Beat for 3 minutes. 4. Pour batter into prepared pan. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until inserted wooden toothpick comes out clean. 6. Glaze: 7. In a small saucepan,melt butter then add sugar and water. 8. Boil for 5 minutes,stirring constantly. 9. Remove from heat and add rum. 10. Remove cake from pan and pierce it all over using a toothpick or a fork. 11. Slowly pour the glaze over cake. Pour a little at a time to give the glaze a chance to soak in. 12. Cool cake completely and serve with whipped cream. |
