Adapted from Confident Cooking. Ingredients:
3/4 cup raisins, chopped |
1/4 cup dark rum |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 cups cream |
2 cups milk |
3/4 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine raisins, rum and vanilla extract in small bowl; cover and stand overnight. 2. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly; pour into an ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions. |
