This is a great cheesecake, because alternates different textures as well as flavors, hope you like it. Ingredients:
for the crust |
1 cup old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked |
1/4 cup chopped nuts |
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar |
3 tablespoons margarine melted |
for the cheesecake |
2-8 oz packages cream cheese |
1/3 cup granulated sugar |
1/4cup flour |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup sour cream |
3 tablespoons rum |
2 tablespoons margarine |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cups dry cranberries |
1/4 cup chopped nuts |
21 tablespoons old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked. |
Directions:
1. For the Crust: 2. Combine oats, nuts, brown sugar and margarine, press onto bottom of 9 inch springform pan, bake at 350f. for 15 min. 3. For the Cheesecake: 4. Combine cream cheese, granulate sugar and 2 tablespoons flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. 5. Add eggs one at the time, mixing well after each addition. 6. Blend in sour cream and rum, mix well,. 7. Pour over crust. 8. Cut margarine into combined remaining flour and brown sugar until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 9. Stir in dry cranberries, nuts, and oats. 10. Sprinkle over cream cheese mixture. 11. Bake at 350 F. for 50 minutes. 12. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
