Jenne is the author of Decorating Cakes and Cookies which is a book I adore and unfortunately don't own. His icings are easy, make the exact amount that he states and more importantly complement the cake or cookies beautifully in taste. Ingredients:
3 egg whites |
1/2 lemon, juice only |
750 -850 g icing sugar, sifted |
Directions:
1. Beat the egg whites a little then add the lemon. 2. Carefully add the icing sugar and mix until even smooth consistency. 3. Add food colours to portions of icing as directed. 4. Proceed to ice cake or cookies. |
