This recipe goes with Monogrammed Petits Fours Ingredients:
1 egg white |
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1 cup plus 3 tablespoons sifted powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine egg white (at room temperature) and cream of tartar in a medium mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until foamy. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating at high speed of an electric mixer 5 minutes or until stiff peaks form. 2. Spoon icing into a pastry bag fitted with a round tip. Monogram petits fours, as desired. |
